Model Number : SRAID116   Specifically designed for high volume, fail-safe data storage applications, the SRAID sets new standards in its class. This industry standard 19-inch rack-mountable 3U chassis RAID subsystem features 14 to 16 hot-swappable Ultra DMA or SATA drive trays to give a maximum storage capacity of over 4 terabytes. For mission critical applications requiring aggressive performance, total reliability and system scalability, the SRAID is the obvious solution. The SRAID is equipped with Ultra 320 / Ultra160 / FC-AL to Ultra DMA / SATA RAID controllers to offer fault tolerant data protection and 100% transparency to the host operating system. This fully featured data protection subsystem supports RAID levels 0, 1, 0+1, 3, 5 and JBOD. The SRAID is the ideal storage solution for applications requiring high data throughput, continuous availability, and flexibility in configuration. The SRAID comes complete with a built-in environmental sensor system that guards your data by tracking the chassis temperature as well as the temperature of individual hard disks. Hot swappable redundant power supplies are continuously monitored and high quality advanced cooling modules provide an optimal environment for high RPM drives. If any irregularity occurs within the system, the monitoring unit alerts the administrator with an audible alarm, fax, and pager. The Ultra DMA version, SRAID114, comes with 14 drive trays accommodating 3.5" Ultra DMA drives while the SCA-II single connector architecture enables true hot swap capability. With a menu driven front panel display, a terminal serial port or Ethernet port, real time drive status indicators and a Java-based GUI interface, the SRAID offers a variety of options for monitoring and management.
